âSome of us are âpick meâ and we wouldnât know. I used to do things for men I liked when it was supposed to be the other way aroundâ â Lady reveals

A lady has opened up about what she described as her own “pick me” behaviour, admitting that she would often go overboard trying to please men she liked.
In a video shared online, she said she would buy men gifts, cook for them and go out of her way to make them happy, even when they had barely done anything for her in return.
She recalled buying a man a shirt while shopping for her younger brother and later giving him an expensive perfume, despite the fact that he had never bought her flowers or gifts.
According to her, she eventually realised that she was not giving the men enough opportunity to reciprocate or make an effort in the relationship.
She said her experience has now changed the way she approaches relationships, adding that she has learnt to stop doing too much for people simply because she likes them.
